Did you know you can use cava to change colors of designs?
Sometime you find the perfect design but colors are all wrong. This can be easily fixed with just a few simple steps.
First make sure the design you are purchasing includes a SVG file. These files will be easy to use and customize. If you are looking for commercial use designs that include an SVG file, check out Crafty Biz. All of the cut files will include SVG files.
Then head over to Canva. The free version will allow you to make color changes. However if you would like to save the design with a transparent background you will need to upgrade to the paid version....you can get a free trial and try it out!
After going to Canva, create a custom size document. Enter your dimensions, 12 inches by 12 inches is typically the size I like to use. Then click Create A New Design.
Once your art board is created, time to add your design. Click on upload and then find your file on your computer (typically in the downloads folder). Be sure you are selecting the SVG file type.
After your design is uploaded click on it and add it to the art board. In the tool bar above the design you will see a dot with each color from your design. Click on the dot of the color you would like to change and select a new color from the panel to the left. (if you do not see the color dots in the tool bar, double check and make sure you have opened a SVG file).
You can change any of the colors in the design. Once you get the colors changed to your liking, click on share to download and save the file.
